Stopping Gossip or Lies

Time:   Best done on a Tuesday or Saturday during a waning moon.

Items Needed: One black, one red, and one magenta candle; Binding, Exorcism, or myrrh oil; Exorcism powder; Binding, Karma, or Protection incense. Three sharp pins. A paper with the names of those gossiping.

Instructions:   Don’t do this spell if you have a bad habit of gossiping yourself, or it will likely rebound on you.

Oil the candles and roll them in the powder. Place the black in the center of your altar, with the red on the left side and the magenta candle on the right. Take the paper with the names of the gossips; stick each of the pins into every name. Stick one of the pins in the black candle about a quarter of an inch from the top. Stick the second pin below this at another quarter inch, and the third pin below the second at the same distance, Chant the verse three times. Leave the candles to burn out.

Chant:   Each time your tongue recite my name, Each time your ugly thoughts defame me, Your tongue and mind will feel the pain Of pricking needles. So shall it be.
